beauty new years' resolution
Happy New Year! You know what makes the new year so exciting is the fact that a new year means new beginnings and starting over fresh. Whether you’re hitting the red carpet or stepping into the office, make looking your best your New Years’ Resolution this year! After all, looking incredible is the best way to show the world all the joy you have inside.

Here are some tips for making your inner beauty shine this year.

A Beautiful New Years’ Resolution

Follow the tried and true. What was your favorite beauty look this past year? Did you wear a new hair style or wear a new makeup look that got tons of attention? If you know a look is a great one for you, keep it up! You don’t have to do it every day, but always remember to take note of the looks and styles that really make you feel great, and keep those in your beauty arsenal for a rainy day.

Dare to be beautiful. What beauty trick has always fascinated you but you’ve been to chicken to try? Scarlet lips? A brightly colored highlight in your hair? A jumpsuit? In 2015, I dare you to try it! Make a list of your favorite beauty dares and commit to checking them off this year. You never know, you might find out there’s a great look you’ve been missing out on all these years.

Grow up your beauty regimen. There’s a certain age when every woman starts thinking about skin care or decides to kick it up a notch or two. For every one of us, this moment comes at a different time in our lives. It’s never a bad time to make a commitment to healthy, beautiful skin. This year, take the plunge and step up your beauty regimen as part of your new years’ resolution. Whether that means investing in your first tube of eye cream, or selecting a high-end facial toner that was designed for your specific needs, go for it. Your future self will love you for it!

Baby yourself! One of the most important parts of beauty is taking good care of yourself. Drink plenty of water, get plenty of sleep, moisturize your skin and hair, wear your sunscreen, at some fruits and veggies into your daily diet, and remove your makeup before bed. It all seems simple enough, but sometimes the littlest things make the most difference. I challenge you to try all of these things for a month and see how you look and feel by the end. You’ll never go back!
